Terms & Conditions
Indemnity: "By participating in classes or events at Athletes of God Dance Studio, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the studio, its employees, and its agents from any and all liability, loss, damage, injury, or expense that you or your personal representatives may suffer or incur as a result of your participation in any activities at the studio. You acknowledge that dance involves inherent risks and you assume full responsibility for any and all such risks. You also give your permission for Athletes of God Dance Studio to use any photographs or video taken of you during class or events for promotional purposes."
Payments:
- Payment for classes is due at the time of registration.
- Late payments will result in a warning, and repeated late payments may result in removal from the studio.
Refunds:
- No refunds will be given unless a class is missed by a teacher.
- If a class is missed by a teacher, a make-up class will be scheduled or a credit will be applied to the student's account.
Exam and Competition Criteria:
- In order to be eligible to participate in exams and competitions, students must:
- Attend all required classes and rehearsals (Up to 10% may be missed)
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate dedication to their craft
- Meet the technical and artistic requirements set forth by the exam or competition organizers
- Abide by all rules and regulations of the exam or competition
- Students who do not meet the above criteria may be withdrawn from exams and competitions at the discretion of the studio director.
Solo Selection:
- Solo selections will be based on the following criteria:
- Technical ability
- Artistic expression
- Attendance record
- Attitude and dedication
- Solo selections are at the discretion of the studio director and are not guaranteed.
Notice Period:
- If you need to withdraw from classes, you must provide a 1 month paid notice period.
- If you do not provide a 1 month paid notice period, you will be responsible for paying the full cost of the notice period.
